Will Washington Follow Florida’s Health Alert on COVID-19 Shots?
On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, M.D., Ph.D, issued a health alert warning that the COVID-19 shots caused a “substantial increase” in reports of adverse events in Florida.
The alert was based on a letter he sent earlier in the week to the heads of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) pointing out the excess risk of adverse events associated with the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.
The letter and health alert summarized the substantial increase in Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) reports in Florida after the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, including for life-threatening conditions.
The following graph of VAERS reports shows the huge increase for 2021, which was the first full year of the COVID-19 shot rollout.
Ladapo reported that in Florida, there was a 1,700% increase in VAERS reports after the release of the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to an increase of 400% in overall vaccine administration for the same time period.
The following graph for Washington shows a huge increase as well of VAERS reports in 2021, the first full year of the COVID-19 shot rollout. Of note, according to www.worldpopulationreview.com, Florida is ranked third in the United States for the highest population at 22,359,251 for 2023 whereas Washington is ranked thirteenth at 7,999,503.
The above statistics show that the 17,300 reports to VAERS for just 2021 is significantly more than all the years from 2005 to 2020 combined, which totals 12,841.
Washington has had a 1,470% increase in VAERS reports after the release of the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to an increase of 280% in overall vaccine administration for the same time period. This 280% shot increase for Washington is lower than Florida's mainly because Washington school children have a higher number of required shots (25) versus Florida (18), so Washington already has a higher background rate of shots administered.
Much more alarming in Washington is the huge increase in deaths in 2021 reported to VAERS in relation to previous years:
The above chart shows VAERS received a total of 44 Washington reports of deaths following vaccinations for the years 2005 through 2020 whereas, for just 2021, VAERS received 192 reports. The total reports for the first full two years of the COVID-19 rollout add up to 217. VAERS currently specifically lists 212 deaths of Washington residents following the COVID-19 shots.
Appropriations Committee Hears Public Comments on HB 1333
For thirty-five minutes on February 13, 2023, the Washington House Appropriations Committee fielded twenty public comments on House Bill 1333, which would establish a domestic violent extremism commission within the office of the attorney general.
Eighteen of those twenty comments stated opposition to the bill. One comment was for the bill but wanted a different makeup of the committee. The other comment was just looking for the bill to take into consideration citizens with disabilities. Three of the public comments opposing the bill came from Informed Choice Washington volunteers. Below are excerpts from their testimonies:
Vice President Bob Runnells: As admitted in the attorney general’s own study for HB 1333, how can you support a commission that would look for loopholes in protected rights? The first duty of the commission would be to identify ways of combatting misinformation and disinformation. This requires the government to decide what is disinformation and misinformation and what isn’t. The government cannot be trusted to find truth for the public. It would cast to wide a net. That’s why freedom of speech is our first amendment.
Sue Coffman: HB 1333 will violate the first and fourth amendments of the US Constitution as well as the Washington State Constitution. It is bad publicity to spend half a million dollars on an unlawful act. This bill is vague in its description of what a domestic violent extremist is nor does it explain what disinformation or misinformation is. Will this commission decide that parents and conservatives are domestic violence extremists because they speak out at schoolboard meetings? The cost of implementing and supporting this commission is unnecessary. We already have criminal and civil remedies for hate crimes and violent crimes. Our efforts to combat terrorists should focus on actual criminal activity and intent to commit a crime not upon the people who exercise their right to freedom of expression.
Mike Johnson: This bill if passed will create an Orwellian surveillance infrastructure complete with a track and trace network that would violate both our federal constitutional rights with the First and Fourth Amendments and the Washington Constitution under Article 1, Section 1. The language in the bill in respect to misinformation and disinformation, not defined in its true intent, is vague at best. The aims of HB 1333 toward DVE are already addressed by criminal and civil investigations for hate crimes and violent crimes with multiple agencies, both federal and the states, that collect and analyze terrorism data, including DHS and FBI domestic surveillance.
A power point presentation by the Anti-defamation League (ADL) given to a house committee during a work session shows how real the threat of HB 1333 is to expression of medical freedom.
The following arrow makes this cause-and-effect from “Anti-Mask and Anti-Vaccine Narratives” to “Increase threats against elections officials, medical professionals, school board members.”
A recent The Jimmy Dore Show touched on how censorship efforts have been embedded by the ADL.
Fauci’s Likely Replacement Is EVEN WORSE Than Fauci! - YouTube
At the 9:53 mark of the show, Peter Hotez, who many see at Tony Fauci’s replacement to head the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) said in an ADL interview, “Anti-science aggression goes hand-in-hand, hand-in-glove with anti-Semitism.”
H.R.497 - Freedom for Health Care Workers Act
The Freedom for Health Care Workers Act (H.R.) passed the United States House of Representatives on January 31, 2023.
This bill nullifies the rule titled Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination, which was issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on November 5, 2021, and prohibits the issuance of any substantially similar rule. The rule requires health care providers, as a condition of Medicare and Medicaid participation, to ensure that staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The vote was 227 to 203. Only three of the ten Washington representatives voted for the bill. They were the only two representatives from the Republican Party—Dan Newhouse and Cathy McMorris Rodgers—and a Democrat, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. The seven voting “no” were Democrats Delbene, Jaypal, Kilmer, Larsen, Schrier, Smith, and Strickland.
