A School-Based Health Center Slips into Mount Baker School District
Last Wednesday before the Be Brave Washington meeting, a dozen Whatcom County health freedom advocates gathered around a picnic table and created “No SBHC” signs to protest the county’s approval for space for a School-Based Health Clinic (or Center) in the Mount Baker School District.
In July 2022, the school district received a grant from the Washington Department of Health (DOH) to prepare for a school-based health center.
The problem was that the school district still needed funding to create room for such a clinic.
The Whatcom County Council already had approved funding for locating a school-based health clinic at Options High School in Bellingham.
But the council had previously voted down funding for creating space for a school-based health clinic in the Mount Baker School District on August 8, 2023. Yet somehow, funding for a facility sneaked its way into the May 21, 2024 Consent Agenda as Item #4 under the topic “various public health programs.” According to Be Brave Washington leader Natalie Chavez, people could only access the related information through the website and clicking on the link of the innocuous agenda item number. It was not listed on the hard copy agenda that was available at the meeting. (Doesn’t this burying of agenda item detail violate the spirit, if not the letter, of WA’s Sunshine laws?)
With the cat out of the bag, the Council again heard the request on August 6, 2024, under item #14, Consent Agenda AB2024-511, to ask for $30,000 in additional funding:
Request authorization for the County Executive to enter into an interlocal agreement between Whatcom County and Mount Baker School District to provide funding for minor renovations necessary to construct a school-based health center, in the amount of $30,000.
During public comment period, Natalie Chavez informed the council of its ignorance of these school- based health centers:
Do you know really know what school-based health centers entail? Do you know what will not be included? A lot can happen without parental consent.
The loss of parental consent that Natalie referred to is on the website of the Washington School-Based Health Alliance (yes, we wonder why they need an Alliance), titled “Providing Health Care to Minors under Washington Law: A summary of health care services that can be provided to minors without parental consent.” School-Based Health Centers are an entry point providing adolescent and teen access to various treatments for mental health or other so-called routine treatments - which come with risks that parents should be made aware of. Critics may note that the following document is dated July 10, 2015, included here from the Washington School-Based Health Alliance website, but it is substantially the same as the current law.
A more up-to-date version of the current law around minor care that relates to, or doesn’t require, parental consent can be found on the WashingtonLawHelp.org site.
As is the case in most Whatcom County Council voting sessions, the August 6 vote was strictly partisan with all four Democrats voting for it, and the three Republicans, Ben Elenbaas, Tyler Byrd, and Mark Stremler, voting against it.
In response to the vote, all Natalie could say was, “It was very disheartening and disappointing.”
Besides displaying the signs at Mt. Baker School board meetings and around the district’s schools while in session, Be Brave Washington advocates passed out flyers from Stand for Health Freedom, detailing the pitfalls of school-based health centers:
Medical ethics do not allow physicians to treat minors without a parent or guardian present, which is why parents cannot simply drop their child off at the doctor’s office and come back later to collect them. Are there limits to what the parent will allow the provider to talk to the child about?
Some concerning facts:
SBHCs are largely unregulated.
SBHCs are intended to replace the family doctor.
SBHCs often exclude the parent.
Education is already suffering.
SBHCs provide inappropriate access to children while parents are away. Children will suffer in the name of convenience.
SBHC services are broad in scope and do not require parental knowledge. There is no set standard for who employs the providers.
You too can join in on the fun. Be Brave Washington meets the first Wednesday of the each month at 7 p.m. at the VFW, 7011 Hannegan Road in Lynden. For more information on this organization, visit their website at Be Brave Washington.
Informed Choice Washington thinks it is important for parents to be aware of the state of law around parental consent and legal concepts like the mature minor doctrine. The state of Washington continues to put policies in place and decide cases that further restrict parent’s rights to know what is going on with kids in schools. The Parent’s Bill of Rights was needed, and is still being fought in the courts by radical groups, to ensure parents are notified in a timely manner when their kids seek risky medical treatments like gender-alteration, and other medical treatments that some consider routine but come with potentially catastrophic side effects.
With this knowledge that kids might pursue status as a Mature Minor, we hope parents can act to maintain open communication with their children and/or to simply avoid schools that hide information from parents.
It is hoped that the mature minor doctrine referenced in the above document, which is only case law, can one day be turned back or clarified by legislation like was passed in Tennessee in 2023. SB1111, The Mature Minor Doctrine Clarification Act, now clearly requires parental consent for vaccinations.
Washington Department of Health Pushes Flu Vaccinations
With the school year now underway, the Washington Department of Health (DOH) is naturally increasing promotion of flu vaccination, as reflected in its September 6 newsletter’s question of the week:
A link opens the CDC’s Frequently Asked Questions about flu, including an attempt at answering the following concerns about side-effects from the flu vaccine:
What side effects can occur after getting a flu vaccine?
While a flu vaccine cannot give you flu illness, there are different side effects that may be associated with getting a flu shot or a nasal spray flu vaccine. These side effects are usually mild and short-lasting, especially when compared to symptoms of flu.
A flu shot: The viruses in a flu shot are killed (inactivated), so you cannot get flu from a flu shot. Some minor side effects that may occur are:
Soreness, redness, and/or swelling where the shot was given
Headache (low grade)
Fever
Muscle aches
Nausea
Fatigue
The 226,463 VAERS reports from flu shots show that the side effects can be much more severe than the six bullet points listed above, notably the 2,536 deaths following the jabs.
Washington shows 5,915 VAERS reports following the flu vaccinations.
Twenty-four of the Washington reports resulted in death.
The most recent deaths following the flu vaccinations occurred after people also took COVID-19 gene therapy shots. So, it seems a good idea for the DOH to tell healthcare workers and patients that these two shots should not be administered during the same office visit.
The three death reports from Washington state from two concomitant shots are as follows:
VAERS ID: 2715729. This death of a 67-year-old female occurred six days after taking the flu and COVID-19 shots on October 19, 2023.
VAERS ID: 1968396. This 49-year-old male died on the same day as taking the flu and COVID-19 shots on December 8, 2021.
VAERS ID: 1775807. This 92-year-old female died one day after taking the flu and COVID-19 shots on November 7, 2021.
The submitted write-up: On 10/08/2021, we received a call from a nurse that the patient was found dead in her bed. she was not having any ailment prior to that.
Another Washington death listed on the MedAlert website (VAERS data) was from just the flu vaccination.
VAERS ID: 1775351. The write-up of the death was of this 67-year-old female explains enough of this incident.
The son came in October 6, 2021 and reported that his mom was really tired like usual after taking her flu shot, but they found her within two days of flu shot dead, approximately September 19, 2021 or September 20, 2021.
In Washington, there were two reports of death in young, healthy adults in their twenties following just the flu vaccine.
VAERS ID: 435707. This 21-year-old male with no preexisting conditions died three days after taking the just flu vaccine on September 22, 2011.
Submitted write-up: Member was given the Flumist on 09/22/2011. On 09/25/2011, member was feeling chest pain and not feeling well after dinner and going to the Club. Mamber was found down face in vomit by his friends. CPR was started and 911 activated. Paramedics arrived and continued CPR en route to Hospital where CPR was continued unsuccesfully. Member was pronounced dead at 0215 by Doctor.
VAERS ID: 555192. This 25-year-old male died two days after taking the flu vaccine on November 19, 2014.
Submitted write-up: Unknown if attributed to vaccine. Patient had vaccination on 11/19/2014 symptoms of fever, dizziness, headache began next day. Patient demise time unclear may not be related however per process noting that vaccination had occurred in the previous 36 hours.
All other deaths of Washington youths following the flu shots occurred when they were administered with various other vaccines. Four death records are summarized below:
VAERS ID: 380740. This 13-year-old female also had taken the HPV shot on August 25,2009. The following submitted write-up says it all:
Patient received the HPV as well as the flu nasal spray on Aug 25th. I first declined getting her the vaccination but her doctor ensured me that it was safe. I had declined the same vaccination a year earlier at the downtown public health center. Patient was getting ready for school and was standing by her closet, and all of a sudden she fell, she lost total control of her legs. She went to school and could not engage in any of the activities because of the numbness in her legs and the swelling of her foot. She also, started to get a really bad headache. Days later she woke up out of her sleep complaining of a severe headache, which usually she gets if she has a seizure but she hadn''t had a seizure this night. She continued to say she had not feeling in her foot and tingling feeling in her leg. After I examined her foot I noticed it was swollen. The next morning I called her doctors office and made her doctors appointment for Oct 23rd. During the month of October she had irregular periods. My daughter never made it to Oct 23rd, which as also her birthday. She passed on Oct. 17th, I found her cold unresponsive in her room at 7am, which I went in to wake her up to take her morning pills.
VAERS ID: 382341. The age listed for this female is 1.51. She died one day after taking the flu and DTAP shots.
Submitted write-up: Child developed a fever early this a.m. with possible febrile seizure. Child was placed down for afternoon nap. The mother went into the room to check on child and realized something wrong: not moving/responding turned; We turned child over and discovered child was blue. Coroner did note child had had an emesis.
VAERS ID: 664201. This 6-year-old male had also taken the DTAP, IPV and MMR vaccines on September 30, 2016.
Submitted write-up: Parents report intermittent illness since vaccination: fever(101) every other day x7 days, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, fatigue, somnolence, dizziness, cough, Left leg pain.
VAERS ID: 691319. This 11-year-old female took the flu shot alongside five other vaccines on December 8, 2015.
Submitted write-up: First Grand Mal Tonic-Clonic Seizure (3/28/2016). Second Grand Mal Tonic-Clonic Seizure 1/20/2017. Third/Fourth Grand Mal Tonic-Clonic Seizure 3/10/2017. Fifth/Final Grand Mal Tonic-Clonic Seizure leading to death: 4/8/2017.
Through court-ordered releases, the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) recently obtained detailed evidence of lack of safety trials for vaccines. The heading for their table reads, “None of the vaccine doses the CDC recommends for routine injection into children were licensed by the FDA based on a long-term placebo-controlled trial.”
Under the row for flu shots, it says, “Flu shots change annually without any clinical trial.” Under the “note” column, ICAN writes the following:
The trials of the original flu shot formulations for children also did not have a placebo control (see pp. 13-14) even though some adult trials did. The one inhaled influenza vaccine had a placebo but, again, it changes every year and is not safety tested in any trial.
An ICAN Placebo FOIA release reveals that flu shots did not originally receive placebo control trials either.
When will the CDC and DOH admit their previous studies were insufficient to declare these products safe and effective?
🐓 The Guano 💩 Report 🐄
By NeoBob and Army
The Guano being smeared across the news is now gaining the stink and inconvenience of, well, how do we politely put it? Doggy doo-doo. A big shout-out to BIO, the world's largest biotech trade association, where we learned that climate change is increasingly threatening man’s best friend. Not our Dogs!
Since canines are olfactory-obsessed, they are also “more likely to sniff the airborne Coccidioides fungus, and often become quite ill from the disease,” according to the CDC, which already has a web page on Valley Fever. This fungus is said to cause rare outbreaks in the southwestern U.S., parts of Washington, Mexico, and Central America. The CDC also makes the unsubstantiated leap to climate change by stating that “Changes in weather and climate may allow the fungus that causes Valley fever to spread and live in more areas.”
Now, as reported by BIO.News, “As authorities reveal 9 people at a California music festival contracted Valley fever, a company making a Valley fever vaccine for dogs is set to receive federal funding to develop similar protection for humans.”
BIO states that CDC data shows that Valley fever infections in humans have risen 10-fold since 1998 (from 2,271 cases in 1998 to 20,202 cases in 2021). But we have to ask: have they really? or is there simply more testing and thus more reporting? After all, that’s the reason CDC claims autism numbers have risen exponentially. More testing and better diagnoses. Could this increase in testing and awareness be driven in the usual BioPharma Phashion, drumming up demand before products are even available? And if the fungus that causes Valley fever is truly proliferating, what else besides an injection could help prevent infection? It is most important to note that this would be the first vaccine to fight ANY fungal infection. All other vaccines are for bacterial or viral infections.
Further, Valley fever is NOT spread dog to dog or human to human. In fact, it only leads to illness in those who breathe in the spores who have a weakened immune system. So there’s that. Improve your pooch’s and your own immune health. And what about all the known products that inactivate or kill viruses, bacteria, molds, fungi? You know…iodine, H2O2, chlorine dioxide…have they been tested on dogs? Maybe a safe and effective daily doggie spray (not the same as when they mark their territory) already exists to provide protection when in high-risk areas. Humans can already get them. They can’t hurt (if made and used as directed…not giving medical advice) and just might help.
Who is making the doggie vaccine now under review by the USDA? Why, it’s Anivive Lifesciences Inc, “a One Health technology company”. Did you see what they did there? (rant alert) Gave themselves a “One Health” subtitle to catch the $urf of the WHO/ WEF narrative wave that attempts to convince the world that climate change => animal infections => human epidemics = we must all sacrifice medical, economic, lifestyle, travel, energy, privacy, and other freedoms to prevent a global disaster.
See: Anivive lands $33M NIAID contract to advance human Valley fever vaccine.
It’s so weird. It’s like there is this massive global plan to roll out one animal-human-climate-caused disease at a time until we are all too fearful to breathe or go outside and we end up looking like porcupines full of needles, self-isolated in our homes, fifteen minutes from every convenience, only communicating electronically, and our babies being grown and raised in the sanitized confines of a lab.
We regard the movie The Matrix as a warning, not a suggestion.
Hoping to conclude with a little humor, we offer you some memes:
