Here's a post that tells a bit about the current suit against the EPA, the trial of which concluded recently: https://worldcouncilforhealth.substack.com/p/water-fluoridation. There are also many resources and background info. Good news in that discovery occurred under the suit.
Excerpt from post: "If the judge rules in favour of the plaintiffs, this will force the EPA to act under TSCA. Two of six options apply: firstly, to ban fluoride outright, which is what the plaintiffs are hoping for; or secondly, to further lower the recommended safe limit (below the current 0.7 milligrams per litre)."
A positive outcome of the suit could "trickle down" to the local districts, no pun intended.
Hi, Clifton! Thanks for reading. You are correct that the local water districts decide whether to fluoridate the water supply. With new legislation the last two years making it more likely that local districts will implement or not discontinue a program, we continue to be concerned about the informed consent aspect of indiscriminately adding this drug/chemical to everyone's supply in each district. If the state BOH would undertake rulemaking ending fluoridation, or the legislature passed a bill doing the same, that would override local decisions. That's what Dr. Osmunson has been trying to make happen for several years, but his pleas and evidence fall on deaf ears in the BOH, who simply rubberstamp the CDC and other organizations' recommendations.
Isn't the fluoride decision handled at the city/municipality level? Going to the state, then, would be needless (and probably fruitless, considering our state.)

So frustrating that our state won’t do a hearing on water fluoridation.
